Hey everyone, brand new here. I have just purchased my dream car. 2004 M3 Coupe, I would like to look into changing the front seats out for a racing style/look seat. Anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase online. Anyone have experience with changing out the front seats? Thanks!

I'd start here:

Keep in mind that aftermarket seats are always a compromise and the mounting was NOT designed to fit the rather unique floor of any BMW. If you remove the seats and look/measure the floor mount bolts and look at the trans tunnel protrusion, you will see that it's anything but square and slam dunk.
VAC seat brackets are likely in order for whatever you choose.

Then there's the choice: A non adjustable racing bucket or a Recaro type seat that is adjustable for backrest etc.
You'll also might want to consider sliders. Most of which I feel are junk. Any twist in the mounting whatsoever and they'll bind.

It's been a very long time since I heard that name,; Wedge.
At the time they were only one of two outfits that made seat brackets. Okay -just (at the time)
Albeit I've always wanted for a better quality bracket. Maybe they're better now?

As another posted about an accident scenario. Yes you want the seat to be fitting and comfortable, but will it perform well when the OTHER guy runs a stop and hits you?
Something to ponder.

Anytime you install a different seat, other than OEM, it will require time and expertise to fabricate the new steel to adapt the new seat to the existing internal mounting bolt holes. It is a very tricky job. Unless the seat manufacturer makes an adapt kit. Gotta keep the same height, adjustment travel And make it crash worthy. Your gonna sell the car someday.
