Your OEM caps will fit these wheels.

What style wheels did you have? What were their specs? If you want to try to match them, just do some quick math...

For example, if your OEM is 18x8.5 et37, and you had a 10mm spacer out back... then effectively they were 18x8.5 et27. Check with VMR and see if they have a well with the specs that match what you were running.

 

The wheels are 18x8f/8.5r style 72. Not sure on the offset of those, and what effect does going half inch wider on the front make on the offset? Thanks

Turns out the front offset is et 47 and the rear is et 50

So, effectively, your wheels were 18x8 et32 front, 18x8.5 et40 out back.

Offset is a measurment from the centerline of the wheel, to the mounting face of the hub.

 

Yup, going 35 for the fronts and 45 for the rears. Thanks for the help...now the decision for silver or gunmetal

18x8.5 ET35/18x9.5 ET45 will fit perfectly, with 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 tires. :thumbsup:

 

As for tires I was planning in using my already almost new Bridgestone s04 255's in the rear on the 8.5s all around. Should I run the same size on the front? I see no reason why not but what so I know lol

What kind of Fitment are you looking for, are you looking for a pretty flush tire to fender Fitment or just to fill the wheel well?

Then an 8.5 with a standard offset will sit you fine, mines slammed and I'm running 9s with stretched tires, and my car handles like a dream. To run anything bigger than a 9 you need slight fender modification.

I wouldn't recommend 255/35/18s all around. Some people might have run that type of a setup, but if you end up going with those tires, you may encounter some rubbing issues.

 

You can do the 255 all around, I have it on my coupe. The front rubs a bit on big dips but I'm lowered on Eibach Sportline springs. Actually the rear rubs a bit too but there is a 10mm spacer in there ::

Again if you decide to go with this wheel/tire fitment, don't be surprised if you get some rubbing.

 

^^^looks great with that wheel color. Went with the gunmetal on my black 330ci. Ordered 255 tires also, I don't like stretching tires, wanted easy swapping, and am on the pro kit springs so shouldn't be bad. Thanks for the help.

Unless your driving a race car your factory camber should be fine where your at. Do you plan on going low? Or keeping it stock

It currently sits on eibach pro kit springs and koni fsd shocks with power flex cab's if it matters. It's as low as I ever want it, and I most usually am driving spirited unless dodging potholes on my crappily roaded commute to work.

I absolutely guarantee you won't rub then, I'm in 9s and a 205/40 but have ran 9.5 front and 11 rear with 225/45 on them you should be in the clear

So I went with the 255s in the front, no rubbing, however I am rubbing in the rear. I guess I should have just went with my own calculations and gotten the 45 offset lol now need my fenders rolled. Thanks for the help anyway though they look good.

Depending on how bad your rubbing just take a dremel tool to the inner fender where your making contact to take a drill with a wire brush and take it inside the fender lip and get all the rubber out then tap on the inner lip with a rubber mallet that'll give you a bit more room

Got the rears rolled by Instagram user e46_keith and no more rubbing. He did a great job and anybody in the tri-state area should use him. He has a few sweet m3's. Even was able to pull a spring pad out of the rears to level out the car a bit.
