Once you flash LC will it always be active or is there some kind of activation sequence?

I tried this yesterday. Made sure to drive around for about half an hour to ensure everything was up to operating temps, and then stopped in an isolated area. Clutch in, shifted to first and then matted the throttle. The engine caught at the RPM I set (2500) but then kept going past that point. Any ideas?

 

is this not possible on MS42?

Also, any suggestions for mph?

My boost is early so I'm looking at setting 2800 rpms but a little unclear on the MPH. I have lots of torque so im thinking the single digit mphs would still cause a lot of wheel spin ending the LC too early.

Using LC

1. Make sure coolant temp is equal or above the threshold
2. Depress the clutch pedal
3. Choose first gear
4. Floor the accelerator pedal! (At least that °PVS matches the threshold!)
5. Engine speed should bounce at chosen rpm setpoint. There may be offset which engine speed bounces, like +/- 200rpm
6. Release clutch pedal while holding accelerator pedal down.
7. Engine speed will be reduced until vehicle speed exceeds chosen threshold

The launch hysteresis is basically how much the DME will let the revs drop before bringing them back up to the target. Based on daniel's instructions above, my guess is Launch PVS will be the minimum throttle position necessary to trigger launch control.

 

Funny enough, my XDF doesn't have the Launch Hysteresis parameter; is that a new feature?

did anyone know if this LC work at all with SW4300037?
I have tried it with the tweaked settings, but engine doesn´t limit rpm.

 

Supported only in v56, WITH THE SPECIFIC BIN FILE.

 

Note, you need to update the 512kb file to the launch file.

I could swear I only uploaded the non LC bin as I was having trouble flashing the LC bin. Yet there I was for shit and giggles flooring it in first and rev limiter bounced off 4k rpm or so

 

In the Google drive folder there's a folder named launch. Bins with launch have a '_LC.bin' at the end

 

Is it possible to have LC configured to brake switch? I have ZF 5HP19 and after trying Alpina flash I just don't want manual swap. No hate guys.

Can any help me with Launch Control
I have m54b30 engine from e46 330ci I swap in e36
I flesh full file from Daniel and don't work , I don't have clutch switch so I make button simple to try with 2 wires , one wires in pin 23 and other in negative of battery but don't work , clutch switch in inpa work when I press and depress

 

This evening I tried to make launch control to my ms43. Following the steps from wiki. I downloaded the logger for my engine load it in tuner pro also load the xdf. Made the following tables. Made full write with ms4x Flasher. The car started with the new verison but LC DOESNT work I think I am doing everyting as it is writen. Is there something more to do?

 

I'd love to help - but I'm having my own issue. But, doesn't your DME say it's MS41 and not MS43?

Little update. Tried with the brake switch... Still the same... Rpm goes to 6500... I am wondering if the made maps are correct.

 

I ended up using the exact same bin (MS430056, M54B25, EWS delete, and Launch control, right?) and launch control isn't working for me. I didn't modify any of the launch control values, from the bin though (I assumed they were already set properly).

 

Still cant make it. Anyone help?
