Here´s an instruction on how to configure Launch Control (LC) at MS43 and use them:

1. Download the corresponding files in the google drive within the folder "Launch Control". Choose the one that matches your engine displacement. Also download xdf with LC in the description.

2. Flash the file with JMG

3. LC is preconfigured in TunerPro to have a bit of security. If you feel you need to tweak the settings download the tune with Galletto and open it in TunerPro.

4. Under "Special Functions: Launch Control" you can tweak the shown values. Description is available by hovering the mouse over each setting.

5. Save the bin and upload it using Galletto

Using LC

1. Make shure coolant temp is equal or above the treshold

2. Depress the clutch pedal

3. Choose first gear

4. Floor the accelerator pedal! (At least that °PVS matches the treshold!)

5. Engine speed should bounce at choosen rpm setpoint. There may be offset which engine speed bounces, like +/- 200rpm

6. Release clutch pedal while holding accelerator pedal down.

7. Engine speed will be reduced until vehicle speed exceeds choosen treshold

This feature, LC, won´t make you a professional driver and it won´t make your car a sports car! If the settings are tweaked to your cars drivetrain and your skills it can definately enhance your cars performance.

Warning:

If the engine does continue to increase rpm even with tweaked settings, you have one of very few weired DME´s that we need to investigate further!
Check youtube for reference how its intended to work!

Development of LC is still going on so check back for the latest updates available!

Daniel, can you quickly explain what each parameter is (PVS, Launch hysteresis, launch_tco_min, launch_vs_max)

Also, any suggestions for mph?

My boost is early so I'm looking at setting 2800 rpms but a little unclear on the MPH. I have lots of torque so im thinking the single digit mphs would still cause a lot of wheel spin ending the LC too early.

thanks...

Lol, I know how to activate it but to set the parameters I (and those of us less experienced) need to know what each of the tables set.

1. Launch TCO - is this the target cooling temp?
2. Launch RPM MAX - is this the actual set point for the RPM (not to exceed and hold steady at XXXXX)?
3. Launch Hythersis - ?
4. Lauch vs Max - this is the MPH the car must reach before LC disengages?
5. Launch PVS - ?

This evening I tried to make launch control to my ms43. Following the steps from wiki. I downloaded the logger for my engine load it in tuner pro also load the xdf. Made the following tables. Made full write with ms4x Flasher. The car started with the new verison but LC DOESNT work I think I am doing everyting as it is writen. Is there something more to do?
