I've seen pics of them on E46 Non-Ms so I think it will fit, but I'll let the pros step in.

Technically speaking, those rims will fit without hitting any suspension components. In fact, they'll be poking out serious. The problem you're going to have is putting tires on them. That much poke will causing MAJOR rubbing in the back and will probably rub in the front too (not sure with factory suspension). No amount of fender rolling will help you in the rear. Maybe, MAYBE you could go for the stretched look on those rims, but that's not my thing. Don't know how much stretching is possible. You may have seen M5 reps on an e46 (with different offsets), but I don't think those OEM rims will look good.

o god such hideous wheels!! :eeps::eeps:
lol jk
im running all 4 oem fronts only though because the previous owner of these wheels had 4 fronts only...wish i had the rears too :(

they will fit no probs...but the rears are like fitting oem m3's, your going to need spacers and thinner tires...the standard tire size from the m3/m5 will not fit...ask DTMDAN about it...

e39 have a different hub size - 74.1mm . E46 have 72.56mm, you need hubcentric spacers to fit them, if they are original BMW wheels (e39).
The style 65 have an offset of ET20 front & ET22 rear 8x18 front & 9.5x18 rear.

Original tires are 245/40R18 front & 275/35R18 rear (///M fitment). For the M-Tech sport versions (530 & 540), the OE tire size (to avoid rubbing) is 235 x 40 x 18 front and 265 x 35 x 18 rear.

Not sure what the size on e46 would be.
