Removing radio connector?!?!

Hello,

I am installing my Aux cable for my mp3 input and i am stuck on this one step... removing that stupid radio connector.

It says to lift it up with leverage from a flat head and it will not go up anymore. Then once its up only about 1/4 of an inch it doesn't want to pull outwards either! Just frustrating :banghead:

Can anyone explain that "magic" trick they used to remove it?

Don't need to wedge anything there. Just pull really hard, the plug will come up and away from the radio.

Pull towards the top of the radio. It will push itself away from the radio, too, so maybe you could try helping it by pulling up and bushing towards the front of the car

Alright, i will give it a try. It is unbelievably hard to pull up on. Plus the short cable doesn't help very much...gives literally no play room.
