If you have the interior door panel off, and you pull the door release cable, it still doesn't open? And when you pull the outside door handle, can you feel anything moving inside the door?

My guess is maybe something got tweaked or something is wedged in there, holding the door shut. I don't think that I've ever heard of the door mechanisms breaking since they aren't too complex...

 

Yes I can pull the outside handle and it moves the cable, and then moves the lever on the door actuator. Also the cable from the inside is working; when pulled it also moves the lever on the actuator. It's acting like the door is locked and there is no way to unlock it.

Bump...still cant get it open. It's about time to take it to the dealer. Anyone have this problem before?

 

This is annoying but I can't make myself take it to the dealer. Ideas anyone?

i had the same problem and i also brought it to the dealer. They told me the door was fine and it got stuck 2 days later.

however, i did solve the problem...or at least get the door open without it being stuck yet.

from the outside, hold the handle, and lift the door without pulling the handle out. when you feel like there is enough upwards force on the door, play with the handle by pulling it as if u were opening it, and it should open with a few trys. :thumbsup:

 

I finally got it open. As of now it works great, but I will see how long it will last. In order to get it open I had to break off the bottom of the door lock actuator while it was still bolted in the door. Then I was able to move this lever to open the door. It seems like somehow the latch popped out of position. Anyways if anyone has the same problems, let me know I can probably walk you through what I did to open it.
