radio tuning...how to manually tune

Try to tune my radio to specific stations and it seems to jump to random numbers other than what I need like I need 550 but get 449 or 556 or what ever.
How can I tune to get the exact number I want?

Press the m button in between the station change buttons on the right side of the radio and then push either the left or right button to manually choose/change your station.

this. upon clicking the "m" it should say "man" on the stereo meaning "manual"

The fm station advances correctly, one number at a time....but, the am station jumps from 5 to 7 digits. Is this normal or maybe someone programed this in the radio??
How can I fix it?

So, what causes my am radio to skip the numbers like it does? How can I fix?
I need consecutive numbers 448, 449, 450 etc.
