2002 Carbon Black M3 SMG Black interior 111k miles
Every part will be removed, cleaned, refurbished, replaced or upgraded.
Going to start with interior/maintenance>suspension>engine/drivetrain>exhaust while figuring out what to do appearance wise. Started taking apart the interior today. not sure what to do now. Don't feel like wrapping the trim so will most likely paint. Started with the steering wheel. It's pretty worn out. I'm not sure if my best bet would be to try and refurbish rhe leather, if there's an alcantara kit I can buy and so myself or if anyone knows the pattern and I can sew it myself. I'm going to cover the audio controls and paint over them to give it a csl look. What color should I paint my trim?!?!?!? Please help. Also what should I use to cover button holes? I'll have to sound down the little raised edges but then need to cover the openings, bondo, some sort of patch etc? I'd like to keep this thread going to track the process of the restoration/modification.
