My 323i isn't fast, but with the maintained stock sport suspension handles pretty good. Even though my car isn't fast, the power curve is pleasing. In some ways a lower powered car is more pleasing to drive in a sporting manner as you learn to carry more speed in the corners and be more strategic about your throttle applications. Even after selling my e39 M5, I still enjoy driving my lowly 323i. Onramp cloverleafs are still fun, and the little Bimmer still has enough grunt for some throttle induced oversteer.

Any money spent to make a 323i/325i fast would honestly be better spent in the cost differential to buy a faster car to begin with.

When I bought ours, I test drove several ,, we came to the decision that manual trans or nothing and once we drove our 330Xi the choice was made..
I've driven faster cars but not much maintains the fun factor like our car does for us.. Except the 69 911 I bought my wife when we were double income no kids, that car was way more fun and way cheaper to own..

Wow, welcome to the third grade....

I thought the forum was a place where the uninformed could come and get informed. This however seems more like a place where you can just get mocked for asking a simple question.

If you don't have any serious input then why not just troll on and leave it. Make fun of usernames??? Seriously??? What good's that gonna do and will it bring any knowledge forward? I don't think so.

How's buying a 911 or an M3 making a 325 faster? Maybe the OP has two kids and they don't usually fit in a 911.....

OP, what are you trying to make it faster for? Track days or daily driving?

For track days I would look at brakes. Brake pads and good brake fluid (sounds counter intuitive but fast lap times require good brakes) and then a suspension upgrade and from there a remap (chip tuning) and an exhaust and intake upgrade (K&N air filter known as a CAI (cold air intake)). Weight loss is also good, but I don't know your ambition level/use for the car, because stripping the car makes it pretty useless for anything but track use.

For daily driving, remap (optional on the exhaust), K&N air filter, and suspension (and keep your stock brakes in good working condition).

On what parts to get there is a wealth of knowledge to gain on the forums....most users are good at providing that....

Hope this helps

gut the interior, remove passenger and rear seats, remove airbags, remove carpeting and sound deadening, remove door trim, replace all glass with plexi-glass, remove air conditioning, replace hood, trunk, roof, fenders with CF, fill tires with nitrogen, get smaller wheels. That should save quite a bit of weight, making your car faster and better handling.
