• Idle air control valve works fine, it’s not stuck or seized
• Intake manifold and everything related to it is connected but this one tube where I don’t know where it goes to
• when I disconnect my intake from the intake boot, the car just completely shuts off dies, but with the intake on, it has a rough idle, and will eventually die

can someone shed some light on this? Car was running perfectly fine before the starter went out, replaced it and now it cranks and turns over but now I have this idle problem again

 

You have a massive vacuum leak. You yourself states that you have a tube that is disconnected and you don't know where it goes. So not everything is connected . Show some pictures and someone can help you.

This is what the bottom of the intake manifold looks like. You need to trace your disconnected hose to see where it connects to right now.

Google image search will give you a lot of pictures that you can refer to.

What you're holding is the evap control valve. In this picture (from your other post), you see the hard black plastic pipe on the bottom, sort of to the left? That's it.

 

I fixed it, thank you for the picture!! Really helped unfortunately I had to take the manifold off again to slap it into that nipple in the back lol

It should have a hose clamp to hold it

 

I don’t think that particular hose has a clamp from factory. But putting one on there is a great idea, considering how difficult the access is and how many people accidently pull them off.

Is that a Duralast MAF sensor? With the pink paint pen scribble?

 

I don’t know but it works perfectly fine, no MAF errors or improper reading, but I do feel it may be throwing off my idle control valve or something. I can’t start my car without giving it a little rev to < 2k rpms, otherwise it’ll stall on me
