Ok so I know it's ebay and everything and the parts are no where near top notch quality like TT kits are, but.....This kit does come with the manifold and that is what pretty much got me interested.
IF I do happen to fit this kit how can I get it tuned? Is it possible for me to buy another AEM Standalone to make it work...I know people will give me sh!t for posting this but $1,100 for a kit is pretty hard to pass up..Thanks for any repsonses...

youre gonna put this crap on, and turn your car into a 3 thousand pound paper weight. And you'll spend gobs of money taking to places here and there for dyno tune, and buy a bunch of piggyback systems, and by the time you realize you been working with hardware that has no place in your car without corresponding software which will be impossible to come by unless its from nickg. You'll have spent a great fortune trying to be cheap, and spend even more money trying to take it off and sell it.

eventually you will report it stolen and it will come back with quarter panels kicked and random parts missing with your rims still on. and valuables not stolen, but thats another story.

dont be cheap. and if youre gonna be cheap

The cheapest way is to buy a used true and tried kit.

I almost don't know where to begin. Instead of starting a rant, I'll just give the biggest reason why NOT to buy this kit. It is paramount that you have a PROVEN company behind any FI kit you are considering. Without some customer support (or at least a manual) installation is going to be a pain, and it's going to take forever to get it properly tuned to run at all (which it will not do once installed w/stock DME software.) It's just a bad idea to try and cut costs with something so important. Just save some money and do it right. You can get a bolt-on SC with software from a reliable company for $4K these days, there's no reason to buy some cut-rate foreign garbage.

I also have to mention that I would not buy ANYTHING from someone that composed the following grammatical masterpiece in their ad:

# All Products Are Brand New In Box Same As Picture.Item Colors Maybe Different From Picture Depending Instock. No Instruction Included. Professional Install Only.
# This Turbo Kit Require To Upgrade ECU To Tune Your Car.We Suggest Customers Set At 7-15 PSI,And Then Your Car Will Gain 20%-40% Or 80-150 Horsepower. This Turbo Kit Max Up To 350 HP.

You could do it not a problem. The issue is that it will cost you 3-4 times what the turbo kit costs to get it to run and make it all work. But there is no reason why it won't in the end. Just don't expect to only spend $1100 and have it running and working that's all.

The best way to go about it would be contact them and try and just buy the exhaust manifold and build the rest of the setup yourself.

Here is a link that might help you out....http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1393391

This guy is running an ebay turbo kit and is putting down 450whp. I know this is an e36 and yours is an e46 but he might be able to give you some insight since he actually runs an ebay turbo instead of all the people on here that don't. Now before I get flamed, I for one would never run a turbo kit off of ebay. I am jsut trying to help the OP out with a question he asked.

That guy has a single vanos OBDI E36, this guy has a double vanos OBD-II E46.

Megasquirt can't tune the double vanos so you're SOL on that one.

You might be able to talk to TRM about their OBD-I double vanos controller and do a ton of wiring conversion to OBD-I, but it would probably be cheaper to just run the Technique tuning kit....
