E46 M3 Trunk Spoiler to Sedan

Hey all , I tried searching this topic in the search but wasnt able to conclude whether the fitment would be too long or not ? I'm currently in the process of obtaining a trunk spoiler from an M3, and its going onto my dad's E46 sedan? Not sure whether i'll have fitment issues or not ? Anybody here willing to shed some light or personal experiences ? Thanks !

It may fit, but why in the hell would a sedan need an M3 spoiler? Might as well graft the M3 badges on it, too.

Its a simple add-on to the trunk. Doesnt neccesarily mean it was meant for an M3 or its implying that I am searching for an M3 look.. thanks for your input though.

I can vouch for the cheap ebay ones. Paint color matches well and fits good too. The style is slightly different but still looks good.
