E36 M3 Euro

Individual paint, "fashionred 2"

Bought it brand new back in 1998.

Its been under surgery since 2000 april. Supercharged in may 2000.

This M3 twin turbo went 60-130 mph in 4,49 seconds back in 2011 may. Boost pressure was 30 psi back then.

Today, we have installed a 6 speed automatic transmission and will try to go 60-130 mph in 3,49 seconds w/o nitrous. boost only.

turbo manifolds

fuel: alcohol since 2009.

Just upgraded injectors from 212 lb Siemens injectors to Moran 325 lbs as we will raise the boost.

During my 4,23 s and 4,49 s 60-130 runs boost pressure was 35 psi. Will go up to 60 psi of boost pressure.

Below is one of my dream projects, cancelled it, VERTICAL S50 B32.

This would allow a single GT4788 to be mounted w/o cutting the M3.

Cut, rotated and welded the transmission and was going well.

We did abort this vertical Project back in 2007. Then twin turboed the same m3 with GTX30s.

LittleBIGGturbo,

Sven bough the kit from someone else, not directly from me.

My kit may have been altered before Sven acquired it.

Can you also tell us how many times Svenn damaged his engine?

Sven fabricated his own manifolds, yes.

Then started playing with the settings. And he had multiple engine issues.

One of his friends, an engineer in United Kingdom, mapped his M3, and that was their 1st engine damage.

Then they raised boost, did various modifications to my kit, to his engine, and failures continued.

Go over b.forums and read his threads, at least 20 threads asking for help due to changing the kit, due to mapping by his own.

My Dakargelb M3, used to belong to my friend, he drove the same twin turbo S50 B32 kit 5000 miles w/o issues. This kit was on low boost 9-10 psi.

Before you attack, you should have studied your lesson.

First road test of E36 M3 Euro TT

Tested new setup.

With very rich AFR 10,2-10,4 & 29 psi of boost pressure:

60-100 mph 1,87 seconds. We have very good traction.

My old 4,23 s 60-130 run had 2,40 s 60-100 mph time.

The new setup improved 60-100 mph by 0,53 s.

Tested new tires and 6 speed automatic transmission.

Sub 2 seconds 60-100 mph indicates 3,xx seconds 60-130.

Was not able to hit 130 mph, but old records show 1,75 s 100-130 mph.

Hope to see 60-130 mph in 1,87 + 1,75 = 3,62 seconds in the coming days.

100-190 km/h 3,07 seconds.

29 psi is "soft" boost, raise it 45 psi and test :)

Took a 10 day vacation.

Back to real life, and keep on working on E36 M3 Euro TT and XM3 TT

E36 M3 Euro cut out fabrication, welding is finished.
Twin 3" straight aluminium pipes go into a muffler, and right before the muffler cut outs are installed.

Custom made S50 B32 camshafts arrived, could not install them as they required different shims. We will get new shims made, heat treated.
The new cams "may" improve spool and "may" add more power from 7800 till 9200 rpm.

These are the shims that we have now and that dont fit....

While I work on M3s, my 23 moths old son Works on his V8 domestic car :)

He likes XM3 as well

Thanks, but think so:

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

- shifts as fast as a modified Nissan GTR 35 or a Ferrari Italia.
- gear shift speeds are user programmable

- zero loss of boost drop during gear changes. Faster 1/4 mile times, faster 60-130 times

- hands are always on steering Wheel, more control of the car, no need to use right hand for gear shifts.

- No more stress in traffic. Just put in "D" you will be happy. Left leg rests, transmission does it all for you.

Nice y did you install cut outs? Do u need a muffler for something?
