E36/E46 Angel Eyes

Hey
I was wondering if any of you might be able to help me, I currently don't know a great deal about angel eyes, But I have a 2000 BMW 316i and dont know if its the E36 or E46 ones that would fit it ? I notice when i look at E46 ones online it says from 1999 so i'd assume they would fit my car. But in every example picture of the E46 Angel Eyes, they're on a car where the bonnet comes down by the side of the lights, like the newer shape. Where as mine goes straight across over the top.
Sorry if i have confused anyone in the process here ?

The E36 uses the same rings as the E46 but without the clips. You can purchase E46 rings and peel off the clips on the back and glue them to the headlight.

Im not sure if they would work on your stock headlights. I have a set on my aftermarket headlights, and they fit perfect.

For the E36, the brightest kit is the Orion V2.
