Does driver's side front wheel usually have a little play in it?

After my suspension refresh three wheels feel solid and tight when grabbed at 3 and 9 but the driver's side front left wheel has some slight play. When I grab it at 3 and 9, I feel a little movement but I can also hear the steering wheel moving with the movement. Is that normal or should that wheel be as tight as the other wheels?

Also, that same wheel has the symptoms of a sticky caliper because I am getting this high pitched sound while driving at lower speeds. It sounds like when you blow on the top of a soda bottle; it gets louder the harder you blow on it.

Other than that, the repair looks good.

One interesting thing that I discovered in this repair was that I was trying to pinpoint some clunking in the rear after I had the Meyle HD RSM's installed. I honestly thought the Meyle was defective but after the repair we found out that the last shop installed the top part of the endlink bracket the opposite way. So everytime I was backing out of the driveway and hearing the clunk, it wasn't the RSM, it was this part that was incorrectly installed.

Also, I had no idea you can twist those stock aluminum rear endlinks and snap them. The mechanic tugged on the link (pretty hard) and it snapped.

I was reading that the bearing would make a grinding sound and I don't hear that. This sound is very high pitched and sounds like rubbing.

It was making noise yesterday and he said it was the pads getting adjusted but the more I am reading about caliper issues, the more that is making sense.

I'm still confused with the play in the wheel. I can spin all the other three wheels but the driver's left side wheel requires a little more effort and not not spin freely.

I will update you after tomorrow once they look at it again. Tie rods are brand new. Car drives straight and no longer pulls to one side. I was watching a video on sticky calipers and they were fixing a sticky caliper on a corvette and they just cleaned and re-lubed some bolts and it went away. Hopefully this is just an easy fix.

I really want to give the car a nice rip but it's hard with that noise because I don't want to break anything.

I'm leaning towards an issue with the caliper or rotor since the rotors are brand new with new pads and bushing kits. Maybe he just didn't install it 100% and it needs to be adjusted. Also the fact that I can't freely spin the wheel is of concern.

We checked the RTAB's with a pry bar and they were actually pretty tight so I don't think it's that.

Either way, I'll have it back in the shop in the morning and we will find out.
