Hello all,

I did a search but did not come up with any reviews on a set of angel eyes from "angel eye guy" https://angel-eye-guy.myshopify.com/ so I thought I would create one myself.

This is not a DIY as the instructions posted on their website are well written and easy to follow. These were installed on a 2003 330 CI with xenon headlights. I chose to go with the all white version meaning they do not change colors. They also offer a white / amber option where you can change the color as you want and a white version that will blink amber with the directional. These cost me $49.99 plus shipping.

The kit arrived a couple days after ordering and in a really cool magnet closing box. The parts were well packaged and appear to be well built. Overall the installation was straight forward. The most difficult part I had of the entire assembly was running the wires behind the reflectors and out of the rubber seal. However, even that was not difficult. The wiring harness looks well made and wrapped well. The only thing I would mention is that I wished the black wire protector covered all the wires. For some reason these are left short. I wrapped the exposed wires in electrical tape. The harness is long enough to wrap around the fenders and firewall nicely. The kit even included a wire to attach to the dome light so the angel eyes lights up when the doors are unlocked or a door is opened. You could probably not connect that wire if you did not want that option...

The real test was when the sun set and I clicked the unlock button. I could clearly see my way to the car down my dark driveway.

I will have to see how well these work over the long run but so far I am pleased with the kit itself, the easy of assembly and the way they look on the car. I would recommend them

As a side note, this was also a good time to replace the drivers side lens as it was fogged up...

Holy crap. I had exactly the opposite experience. Fantastic product and fantastic customer service. Communication was among the best around. I highly recommend, as do others.

I-am in the middle of angel guy install...I had questions and quick txt response from vender...My approach was to remove headlights from car...running the wires through rear boot..I choose to puncture the boot (there is a small black box per set)...I spliced the wires and passed them through the small puncture hole in the boot this allowed the boot to provide the seal around the light fixtures...then soldered the wires and covered with heat shrink wrap...also I elected to used 3M double sided tape instead of the tape supplied by vender...

I have had 2 sets from him both the opaque ones - 1 set on my last were the 60 led ones - looked fantastic and never an issue - easy to install and wired to the footwell light to fade in and out - they never had an issue - would have been 2 years old now and i still see the car with them on - not in my ownership now, the current set i have are the 120 led opaque ones as the 60 leds were out of stock at the time - had them for a year on my current coupe - they are a fair bit brighter ( not that the 60 leds weren't) im from uk so shipping cost me a little bit more but was worth it - been through 3 or 4 pairs of the cheap ones most i got was 4 months before the ccl ebay ones died - buy these once they will last - get the opaque the look better.

I have nothing constructive to add here except that the 2004 Cabriolet I owned had Angel Eyes. They were a quality kit and the installation was professional but I just could not get to like them. They just looked so out of place IMHO. I disconnected them which was easy as the connection for them was in the 'drug bin'; one plug rendered them inoperative. Not sure if the person I sold the car to plugged them back in or not.
