Anyone have experience with Yokohama's AVS ES100 handling in wet conditions. Roundel did an article on them in Nov '02, but reserved judgement on the wet performance.

Can anyone comment?

ive got a set of these tires on the oem style 44's. i waited and waited till it rained and finally did. from my experience, these tires held up pretty well. of course the faster you go, the more the car will feel like youre driving on ice. i was literally going almost twice the speed of regular traffic while it poured cats and dogs, but thats not fair to say to the other cars and drivers who just wanted to be more careful on the road. i had the turanzas before these and i will say the yokos performed better in the wet than the turanzas.

I have them on 18's and they work really well. I'm very happy with this tire!
