Just got mine put in today, and it is... well, awesome.

I knew it was going to be shorter throws (obviously), but I really didn't expect the difference to be that huge. It kind of screwed me up, because I felt like the car couldn't have possibly have been in gear yet - but it was. As soon as I got over my apprehension, I was able to enjoy the great shifts.

Notchiness? A bit. I felt that my stock shifter was pretty smooth, but I have no doubts that the SSK will smooth out over time. Even if the bit of notchiness it has now stays, it wouldn't bother me. It is a bit harder to pull, but nothing worth complaining about, really.

Overall, a totally different, much better, feel. I highly recommend it.

Also, I got the SSK from Sheefo2k (Sherif) on the boards. He was fine to deal with, and shipment was fast.

I can't even remember what the stock shifter was like. Love the Evo3, baby!
:werd: My friend's mom has a Z4...I got in it awhile back just to feel what the stock shifter feels like. I love my SSK. Got mine from Sheefo2k too.
