Can someone explain the difference between Xexon and HID? Which one is better? :eeps:

there is no difference, xenon and HID are one in the same...HID stands for High Intensity Discharge which is xenons, just a different name, do a search and all your questions shall be answered...

Although you'll often see halogen bulbs with blue coating advertise as "Xenon."

The more accurate term for true arc-discharge automotive lighting is HID.

Agreed. The term "HID" describes how the light is created by the high-voltage electric arc where "Xenon" describes the kind of gas used inside the bulb. HID is a more accurate name b/c non-HID bulbs (regular halogen bulbs) can also be filled with Xenon gas.
