Picked up an absolutely immaculate OEM M3 Titanium Silver hood.
Came off an '03 M3 with 17K miles that was always garage kept.
Has the underside insulation, and a 3M clear bra; no grills, no washer insert.

Was going to paint it jet black, but figured that someone out there might be willing to do a straight trade for a similar condition jet black hood.

Hoping to someone from the Trenton, Philly, or Jersey Shore area will be able to do this.
Don't want to ship; I have a van to transport locally.

Again, want to do this local; no cash involved, just straight trades for a jet black OEM M3 hood...

Will send pics to anyone who can do this swap.

:bump:

Note to anyone who's offering to do a Vorsteiner hood swap:
The going rate for a mint OEM M3 hood is NOT $200...
...And your yellowed, chipped, or cracked CF Hood is not worth $150 under the suggested retail price...

It's worth between 1/2 and 2/3 of the average sale values...
...Nobody paid retail unless picked it up in the first run batch.

Seriously, it's used carbon fiber... Not gold.
If it needs to be repaired/refinished; it's only worth a little more then an OEM part.
Bottom line...

I don't lowball my offers when a part is legit, and I expect the person I'm making a transaction with to do the same.
...Otherwise; Don't waste my time!

I have a 04 tiag hood that needs a respray, well not really but I can't stand the few chips. I could trade you straight up with cash for your mint hood, only if it's mint, then you could use the money to get mine painted. I would like to have factory paint instead of respray.
