hey my temp gauge is always reading negative fourty and well it doesnt. matter if its 60 degrees out or 100 degrees out like yesterday it still is -40

is this commin?
is there a easy/cheap way to fix tthis?

yup temp sensor in the front driverside bumper area... id check and see if its still there, or if you bottomed out and ripped the bastard out... like i did. :banghead:

hahaha, I just had the same problem...your temp sensor is either broken or just unplugged...

For me, I hit a tire on the road when I had my old bumper...It tore off the driver's side wheel well and looked like it cut my temp sensor in half.

I just bought a new one, installed it yesterday (thanks Tischer) and bingo, good as new...jumped from -40 to +93

Turn your wheel to the right, remove a couple of bolts to your driver's side wheel well, and you should be able to figure out the rest.

The sensor looks like needle thing w/ a wire coming from it.
