So, my calipers are stock... which means they are the color of RUST!! I want to clean and paint them, but a little unsure about color. I kinda want them silver, but every keeps telling me to paint them blue (BMW roundel color). I think it would look a little Ric3r.:hmm: (Also, my rims are just Plasti-Diped:excited: for fun and i might go back to silver rims later.) So... Silver Or Blue?

325i Calipers are not BMW performance calipers! OP, why would you want people to notice stock calipers? I fully understand the desire to rid them of the rust... but, personally, I would do it by painting them a nondescript color - i.e. black or silver (with silver being the color of cast metal not bright silver). Just my opinion :)

Paint them what ever color you like, to hell with what anyone else thinks............now if it was mine, I'd be painting them yellow like I did on my silver 2003 330xi, the yellow against the silver wheels and silver car POP>

Dude just paint them whatever color you want its your , I painted mines black on my black 330ci and called it a day they look pretty damn good with my bmw caliper decals. The problem with people on this forum is that they mod there cars based apon how other members react and what they think , I do my car the way i like it if people like it kudos if not GFU......

Did you use a silver sharpie to write BMW on your calipers? :yikes:

my bmw caliper decals..

Reading is fundamental....
Personally... Go with black stock calipers unless you want to go really RIC3R... Now... If you have a Brembo caliper... You want to call attention to those. They normally come screaming red anyway.

But then I don't like black rims... You need at least silver or chrome trim around the outside... Everytime I see black rims on a car I always think about stock BMWs and Mercedes with bad brake dust issues...Or someone who is too lazy to clean them.

But then that's just me...
You want black or silver... very simple.
Love mine.....Black/Grey-Green metallic. Used G2 colored caliper epoxy. Stays glossy, unlike spray paint that gets dull over a short period of time.

I would go with black man. I painted mine black for the same reason as you, they look good and hide themselves well. No one cares about a stock BMW caliper.

Use any colour you like. If you like blue, then do blue. I can tell you right now that noone gives a crap about your caliper colour.

Plus its your car, why do you need our permission for?
