So, time to document this adventure I guess. I started a blog to centralize stuff, but Ill be posting here also as I progress.
The Blog: http://brakeswapracing.blogspot.com/
So this all started with me selling a very nicely setup and competitive E36 M3 racecar that I had been racing since 2004 or so. It was finally time for something new (since Josh Smith started kicking my butt) and I came across a GREAT deal on a 2004 M3 that had a salvage title on it due to a headlight fire. The previous owner was even a member here!

If any of you guys are in the DC area, or closer to Frederick, I highly recommend Givens Collision (http://www.givenscollision.com/). They do great work and you can follow along with your car's progress! If youre curious, click on "Check Vehicle" on their website and mine is #11380.
Anyhow, the car will undergo a major transformation soon. Rang up James Clay a bit late in this process since I knew he was still conducting "business" at SEMA. Once he got back, he did what he would do for anyone considering this adventure, draft a plan and set a schedule.
I have a DE coming this weekend at VIR and Clay was able to put something together for me on SUPER short notice. So gone is the stock suspension and in are some SUPER sexy Moton DAs! You also cant have a racecar with a stock exhaust right? So in goes Bimmerworld's race exhaust.
Will report back after this weekend!
