So yesterday I bought a set of 18" 7 series wheels. The back two had so much camber wear they were no longer usable. The fronts are about 45% tread.
So today I bought brand new tires for the other two.
My question is. They are +15 offset. 225/45/18 all around. The brand new tires I bought today are 225/40/18.
Will these be okay on the back or would I have to put the old ones on te back?
Ps: in the process of stripping the blue of haha

The wheels are 8.5
And no not lowered as of yet. My car sits kinda low already for some reason. Lower than stock by a tad.

All I really want to know is if I can run 225/40/18 in the back or should I put the 45's in back?

You'll be fine with 40's for now, but that'll change once you're lowered. If anything, people would tell you to go with an even thinner tire.

I didnt know that style came in as 18s

Those are called style 95's btw.. I have them on my car in 18x8 +15 Fronts and 18x9.5 +25 Rears. Tyres are 225/40/18 all around. Fronts look meaty, rears are stretched to the sh1t.
