i took my 19's off for wither..but i was wondering if they would it on my fathers M roadster..my wheels are 8.5x19 all around 235-35-19 offset is +40

The M roadster takes a much lower offset rear wheel, much like the E46 M3, so these wheels are not a good fit on his car.

i understand its not a good fit..but will it work without rubbing?
