I am looking to buy a set of VMR csl reps. 19x8.5 ET35 Fronts and 19x9.5 ET 40-45 rears. Do any of you know if I will rub and if I will need to get my fenders rolled?

Its all about offset and how low your car is really. You will probably need some serious rolling if you are planning on going low for the rears..

Then again, If you aint rubbin, you aint dubbing.. :pimpin:

Thats iffy territory.

- Any drop on the coupe or plans to?
- Give a concrete number, are the rears ET40 -or- ET45?
- What tire sizes do you plan on running? (aka, normal 265s or are you going to do a 'stretched' look?)

My novice take on it is that you will likely see more chances of rubbing on the inner-fender well than the outside lip, with those rears. Front's are fine.

As of right now I have stock sports suspension. I have no plans on dropping it anytime soon. I'm leaning towards the ET45 for the rears. With that set up i'll be running 225/35/19 front tires and 255/30/19 rears. At least thats the plan.

Here is my rear setup with 19x9.5 ET 35 - 265/35s.

Rubbadub rub...every small bump. When I was researching mine, I noted another gentlemans here who has the same setup but running an ET 45 and he was running into inner-well rubbing issues. ET 40 with a 255 tire might be spot on or require just a little bit of rolling to make all work nice.

Thanks for the pic. It'll probably be safe to get them rolled either way. Doesn't cost to much. I'll see what happens once I get them installed. Is your car dropped at all?

You will not have to roll your fenders with that offset. But once again if you get beast tires like a 255/35 then yes it will rub.. I have a 20 offset with 225/35 on a ten inch rim. Depends on what style you go with. Stretched tire? Tucking rim? Or just closing the tire gap

In that picture, I have H&R Sport springs and Koni shocks installed.

I tried going back to my stock sport supsension on the rear to see if it'd help with clearance, but it didn't. I bought some 255's for the rear...still rubbed. Some more negative camber and I would've been good, just didn't feel like messing with it any more (and fender rolling wasn't something I cared to do...northern climate, snow/salts....corrosion).

The thing is, already with 19's the ride is gonna be rough. So I wanna have a little rubber to cushion as much of the blow as I can. If I need to roll my fenders in order to handle a 255/35 tire, then I think it'll be worth it.

You are guaranteed to have no rubbing issues with a 19x9.5 et 45 rear. We currently have CSL rep wheels in stock ready to ship out as well!

We can guarantee perfect fitment without rubbing with our 19x9.5 ET45 VB3's with a 265/30/19 rear tire at stock height!
Not too sure about that. I just swapped my 19x9.5 ET45 V701's with 265/30/19 from my coupe to my new 330 vert. Not sure why, but my vert is lower than my coupe (both have stock sport suspension) and I rub on my vert now whenever I hit a small bump or corner hard.. Now need to get the rears rolled on my vert or swap wheels back... :tsk:
