I have 18x 8 in the front & 18 x 9 in the back, This guy has a good deal on 4 245/40/18's I know they will fit on the rear but what about the front? The rims have a 40mm offset.

Its close, but I doubt it would clear without some modification.

you will mos likely rub in the front...go with a 235 and you should be fine

so will it rub on the front AND the back or just the front?

No, w/ 245s in back, you will not rub....on the front, probably. I'd stay away from putting 45s in front.
