on a 2003m3 coupe the size is

18" 8" front and 9" rear

on 19" it is
8" front and 9 1/2" rear

but i got on my 2003m3smg i have hre540'ies and have
18" wheels that are 9" in front and 10" in rear

10" is the widest you can go on a regular m3 in the rear. without going for rolling fenders that is and then in the back you can go up to 12" wide in the rear.
