Which is better? I know some people have the alpine 7894 but wasnt sure about the kenwood since its new. The kenwood control slide forward. Its seems to look better and has the cool factor of sliding out controls but i've heard kenwood controls are complicated to use. Which brand has better sound? I do know the 7894 is being discountinued so i could get the replacement which is the 9813.

I'm a Kenwood whore, so that's my vote.

One thing to consider is if you decide to go with a Satellite radio provider. Kenwood works with Sirius, while Alpine works with XM.

Go with the /////ALPINE.Definitely a better machine than the whole industry.But wait for the 9813.It has a cool feature for MP3(if you are in to that) called Quick Search.It is the easiest mp3 player that i have founded.Fast,almost no delay between songs(3 sec.).Better stereo image too,time correction,etc..You can't go wrong.
