I would like to put an exhaust on my 320ci cabriolet, but don't want it to be loud, and would like to keep the distinctive BMW engine sound in the exhaust tone.

I have been recommended to buy a Remus exhaust, but do they make exhausts with carbon fibre tail pipes??

Any advice?

yes, they do make an exhaust with CF trim on the pipes... not sure if there is an E46 application though. You should be able to option it though. Try Eisenman... very nice, or supersprint... OEM manufacturers to a big name tuner.

I'm going with the DINAN exhaust...if you do a search lots of people have been very happy with the noise level of this exhaust..not too loud..but you can still notice it's modded.
Most everyone I've talked to that has the Dinan complains about the droning at highway speeds.:thumbdwn:
