Well, I'm putting Boston Acoustic Pro components in the front doors, and wherever I seem to place the crossover, I'm getting noise in the line. I am testing by only turning on the headlights w/ the car off and putting my ear up to the speaker in the door. The crossover has no input, just the ouputs to the speakers.

This is for the front driver side door. If I more the crossover to the center of the foot area (8inches away from any part of the consol or anything like that), I can't hear any noise in the speakers.... but when I try and mount it somewhere, I get noise.

At first, I wanted to have the crossovers in the trunk and run straight new lines to the speakers, but I couldn't get the 16 gauge wire through the door plug where the old wires were... so I brough the crossover to as close to the speaker as possible....near the dead pedal.

Any suggestions?

I have them in the trunk and stuck with the stock wires. They are twisted-pair as stock, and are allready accessible in the trunk.
