My car squeaks when I turn and I wanted to check power steering fluid. I cant figure out where it is though. Can someone tell me how to find the right spot? Its not in the manual. Thanks so much!

1. Locate hood release lever on the left side of the drivers side and pull it to release hood
2. Stand in front of the car
3. Locate black bottle with the word "ATF" on it.

That is the power steering reservoir. Remove the lid by unscrewing it, first clean debris around it. The lid itself can be used as a fluid level indicator by observing the 2 marks that are marked on it.

If fluid is black, low, smells burnt, might be time to change it.

And the easiest way to change the fluid is to get a turkey baster from the dollar store, remove as much fluid as possible from the resevoir, then refill to the lower mark or slightly above it. When heated up, it should be even with the upper mark. I used Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF when I replaced the fluid in mine last time, and it's worked just fine.
