I want to get rid of my front license plate holder plate panel thing.

I know there's a strip to replace that with. Who has these and how much?

The molding strip sold by bavauto doesn't fit my 2003 sedan. The tabs are in the wrong places, they dont match up.

Buyer beware.
I had to find out the hard way.

Just goto the dealer, $20, the bavauto one is aftermarket (booooooo!) You can also opt for the euro plate holder (exclusive)

any idea if these even exist for a 2000 323i, I have been looking since I have owned the car but can only find the license plate holder version??

and it is even legal in FL to have no front plate

For the 2000 323i sedan, part 16 on this link should work.

I'm not sure if coupe, vert, touring would be different, but it's easy to check via realoem. I ordered mine from pelicanparts.com, and it worked with no problems.

My guess is that the dealer will not replace this for you if a front plate is legally required, but it is a 5 minute job to DIY.

Thanks nc325, I did look on realoem but couldn't find it, did this time though.
