One of my fog lights blew so I decided to order new ones. I searched through a very popular sponsor's website and it said that my 99 BMW 328i used PIAA H4 bulbs. So I ordered them and they showed up today. The bulbs in my foglights are NOT the same.

According to the OSRAM website my foglights are 9006 but when I went to TIRERACK.COM and put in the same specs, it suggested the PIAA H4 bulbs, which is what I bought. Now I have a nice set of $55 bulbs but naturally they do NOT connect in anyway. My foglights are the rectangular ones, not round.

Ideas other than putting the bulbs up on eBay?

Can't you just return them?

I don't see how foglights can be H4 since H4s are dual filment...
I agree but if you check out Accessories on Tirerack.com and profile a 1999 328i it will say H4 Notes:fog lights. Tirerack wanted $75+shipping for the pair, I paid $50+ $5 shipping elsewhere and the 'restocking' is 25% so I'll likely lose less than 25% of what I paid just letting them go on eBay. Thanks for the idea though.
