What exactly is the piece that was damaged, and how much is a new one?

Just glue the leveler arm. I had a friend break his and he used duct tape. It is a tinny plastic arm, there is no reason not to glue it. The new part is around 175 I think.

it is where the socket and wrench are connected to, boxed in the red.
it kinda looks like the red thingy I've drawn, but not red, or transparent.
