anyone one know where I could get some work done on a PG2 wheel in the pacific northwest? basically a flat caused the valve stem to blow out and it stripped out the valve stem threading and the hole needs to be filled and redrilled so that the valve stem can fit in properly again without backing out.

I know a real reputable guy up here in Seattle, he's been doing wheel repair for 15+ years. Works on Mercedes, Bimmers, Porsches and the like.

Hey Steve,

I know a machine shop in Portland that has a tool that will rethread anything. I had to use it for my differential. You can also buy the kits for any thread size and pitch for around $20. It's really easy, I can help you. Can you find out the thread size a pitch of the valve stem?

I am not sure if this something any wheel repair shop can do. Is that a common problem?

Shane, don't know how common it is. I just wonder if it will need to be filled and then redrilled for a tight seal. if we meet up on sunday I can show you the wheel.
