Guys,

i have a 2004 Touring and was installing a amp today and came across this device just above the cd changer in the trunk, i've attached a pic.

Anyone know what it is, and also if the white wire is a remote power on.

Just guessing, could it be for Bluetooth, or Cellphone. Look at that connector at the bottom right, looks like an attenna connector.

my car does have the Bluetooth, i need to find out what the white wire is as i need a remote power on lead.

it proabaly is a power lead...take a multimeter and test it.

Either use the white wire from the wiring harness behind the radio, or from your factory amp in the trunk, use the white wire that is on the GRAY half of the main connector.

Ok, looks like i will have to pull out the head unit and all the bits to run the cable to the rear as i dont have a AMP in the trunk for my touring.
