3 days ago i've started having a sceechy noise in my engine. my best description is a vibrating whistling metalic sound, sound like if something needs to be greased. comes in and out on idle and get louder and higher pitched around 2000 rmp's.

at first i thought it might be my belts but its not. My friend told my it might be the bearings on the waterpump. and that sound pretty good to me, from the noise it sound like some kind of bearing or something. my car hasnt over heated.

i wanna know if some one has a clue what it could be before i have to go to the stealer. any guess?

could be the power steering pump is low on fluid. Could be a lot of things.

i have the same noise. only when i start up the car
i called the dealerand the was like it it happens for 43 secs or so. then its alright. cuz its the ac belts or some bs like that

Could be a very small cat stuck in the fan belt.

meow :lmao: no its not that but i have seen a dead burned can inside a 7 series at the dealer that sh!t stinks. he had all the car porters and the advisor about to uke:

UPDATE *** just came from a bmw , merc, porsche shop to get some advice. the guy looked at it and said it sounded like bearings on a pulley or something. so he proceded with a can of good ol' wd-40 with the little straw and.... beautiful silence.
i tipped him $5 bucks that he didnt wanna take but i made him.
now im happy

That'll work for a little while. Beware, if those bearings seize... you could have more problems than just a squeaky noise.
