As winter draws to an end here, fingers crossed, it's time for me to start thinking about becoming un-lazy and work on my vehicles again. Now I certainly have no shortage of parts :D, but something about the dark and cold navigates me straight to the couch. So I was wondering if maybe some of you are in the same mood.

Maybe I can help. Be it parts, technical questions, or just some motivation!

I'll start with my "need to do" list-

Valve Cover Gasket, Pump to Rack PS hose, and central locking switch (no excuse for this one really).

So what have you all been putting off?

I've had new Vanos seals from Beisan teed up for 1 1/2 years. It was to be part of my Valve Cover gasket replacement but I had to bail because I didn't have a fan removal wrench at the time.

Power steering system overhaul (hoses, reservoir). Multiple PS hoses are slowly leaking. Vanos seals will be done soon.

Engine mounts hopefully this weekend if I can pick up the engine support form Harbor Freights.

S54 swap. The parts are sitting around, but I got caught up doing a 5spd swap for a friend and now an E30 motor swap for another friend.
It's way too cold in the garage at night this time of year.

I definitely need to replace my guibo sometime soon. I have been putting it off for a little while. I inspected it when I replaced my clutch and there are a few cracks in it. I don't have any clunking, but it needs to be attended to soon.

I am also in need of an alignment, but that will be done in the next week or so.

I need to do my Vanos seals, VCG, CCV, Vanos line, RTABS + limiters, oil filter housing gasket, engine + tranny mounts, selector rod seal and lower intake boot. I have had all of the parts for 3-4 months but have not had the time to do the work. :(

2 window regulators

Replace those compartment covers (?) that get all scratched and messed up infront of my shift knob

Maybe someone can help me with this one - when I shift into fifth gear (5s) it seems there's a resistor in there that is going out? Sometimes it's really easy to go into 5th, others not so much.

Door hinge (?) passenger door doesn't stay open

Oil change

Brake pads + rotors:/

Air in tires

My rear differential is leaking and I need to have it repaired. One of my 02 sensors is bad. I gotta figure out why my transmission shifts oddly. Need to fix my low idle. Need to overhaul suspension, replace a bent wheel, replace cracked and scratched front bumper, need to replace torn driver's seat. My window regulator is broken, and one of my belts squeaks endlessly. Replace driver's door handle since it takes too much effort to open

$$$$$

Replace rear trail arm bushings - Lowered my car and waiting for the MIS RTAB tool to come in.
Update DME - Final attempt to fix the idle while coasting issue
Repaint front bumper - Got two bad paint jobs from cheap body shops
Reupholster pillars - Both interior front pillars by the windshield are peeling
Alignment - Will do after RTAB replacement

Going to purchase vanos seals. VCG and plugs are in the garage. Might as well do all together.
Replaced all P/S hoses and reservoir last week, gas filter too. Those banjo bolts on the rack are really hard to get to, it's a b*tch, fyi.
CCV before next winter.
