I am new to E-46 Fanatics and just want to first say this sight is the best.... Thank you guys. I am getting ready to do the Beisan seal rebuild on the Vanos. Im waiting for all my parts and fully understand the procedure from reading on this site. The problem im running into is finding the recommended Vanos piston bolts (11-36-1-748-745). Ive checked azauohas, bma auto, and much more and cant find where to order some from. Does anyone know where i can order them?

My dealer didn't have them in stock. Luckily, my indy had one.
Pelican parts carries them.
And I highly recommend you get one or two to have just in case. I broke the intake side bolt on reassembly because I didn't have the vanos piston fully seated against the camshaft. The second time around, I tried pushing it in by hand and it wouldn't budge. I used a deep socket and hammer to lightly tap it in and seat it. Be careful doing this.
