Today while doing valve cover gasket noticed that I have 3 cracks in my valve cover.
I tried to find used one, but unfortunately no one around me have one and new one costs a lot.
So I'm now thinking about repairing my cover. What would be best option? Weld cracks together? Or use some strong epoxy? Or maybe weld and epoxy together?

High temperature oil safe epoxy such as JB Weld, or a good gasket sealer will seal the cracks, but more may form later.

There is a cheaper chinese made aluminum valve cover some have tried.

Photos at 101 above.. I have removed the small screws and am red locktighting them in, on brush cleaning the inside recovered some fine metal dust, will be using OEM gaskets, so far so good.

There is also the M56 SULEV engine aluminum valve cover retrofit that some like.

I have Victor Reinz sealer which I bought for gasket. Would that work?

It is warped? Pretty common to have the valve cover to warp as well and it is warped - get a new one as it WILL leak.

Ended up buying new one. Old one cracked really bad when tried to put it back after fixit it.

Where did you get yours? I suspect I might need a new one too, it's still leaking after changing the gasket and rubber grommets 😔

I bought febi from INTERCARS. But Im not sure if your country has intercars.
