I'm looking to upsize my 2001 325Ci rims/tires. I'm looking to go 18x8 F/R for the rims and I wanted to go 235/40-18 (F) and 245/35-18 (R), but the only tire brand is Dunlop. I really wanted to go with the Kumho Ecsta MX, which does not come in 245s. Does anyone know if I can put 235/40-18 on the rears without rolling the fender lip?

Yes you can. Unless the wheel has a crazy low offset like 32-35 or lower, 235's won't rub regardless of drop.

245/35 is a horrible size, try getting 255's if you are really concerned about getting a staggered setup. That again, is offset dependent.

255s?

Are you saying that 225 (F) and 245 (R) is bad? That's the 330Ci SP setup.

If I get 255s, I have to roll the fender lips

225f/245r is the 330 SP, but in a 17" size.

These are the ideal setups...

225/45/17f, 245/40/17r
225or235/40/18f, 255/35/18
235/35/19 f, and 265/30/19

Again, this if you are interested in staggered setups. Anything less than an m3, you would do simply fine with 235's all around.

P.S. Depending on the offset, you can probably run 265's without rubbing and without rolling on a 325ci. But that's a super high 48+ offset. .
