It would be much easier to just figure out your setup so you can update yourself.I did try using Winkfp but i could not get it to recognize anything. I tried to update the sp daten folder and it still never recognized the egs. I tried to update the DME and it caused problems so I got a DME with ews delete to have as a backup while I tinker with this one. There is a rather heavy 2-1 shift clunk at stops and slowing down. I just don't think that is good for the transmission. I am in the big island but I can send a module your way if you can do it (anyone) via usps for rather cheap. What would need to be programmed if I got a used one with the same part numbers?
- Use INPA to test if things are working, not WinKFP. INPA should have both dots solid black.
- First thing is make sure pins 7 and 8 on your INPA cable are connected together. I just opened up the OBD end of the cable and put a solder blob on the circuit board where 7 and 8 connect.
- Next thing is be sure the INPA cable is connected to your PC, then go to Device Manager and set the COM port for the INPA cable to COM1.
