There has been no difinitive answer for me through all of my indepth searching throughout this forum and many others on this subject..

i have a 2001 330ci with the 4:3 non nav, television monitor that has a very basic interface, a simple color one. Is there anyway to update the interface from the dated blue look to the grey/blue of version 32 i think it is

the main issue is the missing navigation portion of the car, ive read that the update is done through the dvd/cd drive of the nav, no mention of the television enabled non nav cars.

i plan on getting either a usa spec or a mediabridge

The graphics are generated by the TV module in the absence of a nav drive.

To get the final version of the graphics you will need a navigation drive.
