Nice M3 seat swap, I've been debating whether to do the same or have the Upholster redo my drivers seat.
If you do end up going the reupholstered route, I'd love to know what that set's you back. Not to be nosey or anything.

I only ask, because most of the E46's I've looked at that are for sale. the drivers seat is in rough shape, but the rest are close to perfect, and I'd like to get a good idea at what it'll cost to have it redone. professionally

I used a latex based paint, has that tacky feel kind of like oe but slightly different texture.
Can you share some insight as to what paint/brand you used? I'm planning on doing this myself but I don't know weather to use plasti-dip, regular paint, or a specialty paint.

I used a valspar latex black paint with a small foam roller brush. It gives a different texture but still has a matte look if you apply it correctly. It's been on there for about a year now and I haven't noticed any wear on it. I also tried plasti dip on certain high touch parts just to see how it holds up. The plastidip started to peel up after about 8 months of being touched daily.

here's the texture detail on the latex paint

Your car looks great and a big part of its uniqueness is what you did with the front bumper. I would keep it like that rather than install an M-Tech II (as mentioned in "Upcoming").
