guys,

here are some photos of my new two-tone interior. i wanted something unique, understated, yet sporting so i decided to do an ultrasuede that was a close match for my existing titan shadow trim. i'm extremely pleased with the results, and would highly recommend the shop that did this work to everyone in the boston area (and anyone who knows me knows that i am extremely hard to please . here's their information:

a-1 auto upholstery

the cost was around $1500 for materials and labor.

took them three days to do. door panels may add a lot of complexity because of the airbags.

So they couldn't do the doors without compromising its (airbag's) reliability or was it way expensive? I've seen it done on other cars, but have not seen any discussions about its complexity.

well, in my case i didn't want it done (since the aim was to match the titan shadow trim that's already on the doors), so i didn't really go into it in depth. however, the impression i got is that, for legal reasons, they didn't want to get anywhere near any panels that get blown out when an airbag is deployed.

Yes, I would see where they (the installer) could run into some liability issues. Regardless, your car is BIG impin: !
