guys,

here are some photos of my new two-tone interior. i wanted something unique, understated, yet sporting so i decided to do an ultrasuede that was a close match for my existing titan shadow trim. i'm extremely pleased with the results, and would highly recommend the shop that did this work to everyone in the boston area (and anyone who knows me knows that i am extremely hard to please ;). here's their information:

a-1 auto upholstery
97 linden street, waltham ma
781-891-6611

the cost was around $1500 for materials and labor.

hope you like the results, and i'll try to get some better pics soon. those of you who know me will recognize my pimp lucky bear, fred, in some of the shots :)

What was your down time? I want to do the same thing, plus door panels. Looks sweet!
took them three days to do. door panels may add a lot of complexity because of the airbags.

So they couldn't do the doors without compromising its (airbag's) reliability or was it way expensive? I've seen it done on other cars, but have not seen any discussions about its complexity.
well, in my case i didn't want it done (since the aim was to match the titan shadow trim that's already on the doors), so i didn't really go into it in depth. however, the impression i got is that, for legal reasons, they didn't want to get anywhere near any panels that get blown out when an airbag is deployed.

Yes, I would see where they (the installer) could run into some liability issues. Regardless, your car is BIG :pimpin: !

Looks great. I was thinking about doing that but I'm not sure how it would look with the grey headliner. If I changed my headliner to black, I would def. do it.

Sweet ride.
