two rare wagons

it all started a few months ago when an old buddy sold me his one owner 2001 alpine white manual slicktop wagon with 335k miles. It had tan interior and was pretty far gone so after some maintenance I started hunting for a donor car with a black interior. I found a 2001 sea green wagon with black Montana leather and some

rear end damage. Now I’m falling in love with the donor car and want to fix the body as I know it’s a rare color I’m just not sure how rare. I’m new to forums so forgive me if I’m doing this wrong. Any way my name is Josh and I’ve been a long time e9x guy and now I’ve been bitten by the e46 wagon bug. Does anyone on this site have any idea how many sea green e46 tourings were brought to the states?
cheers
Josh

im sure you can google search that

I’ve tried numerous times. All I was able to find are production numbers for Oxford green and grey green. It’s also possible I’m not searching correctly. I know there were some examples in Europe I’ve seen pictures of but none in the states. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't believe the number of US spec sea green tourings is something that is readily available. There is another thread here where we started breaking down each of the VIN ranges by type and running all the numbers through the VIN decoders. There are links to a spreadsheet on google docs later in that thread (post 65).

We have some data, but not all. I believe that color was pre-facelift only, and it's pretty uncommon.

I will check it out. I guess I’m figuring out there are no easy answers for how rare a certain car is.

Save the green one. Who cares how rare, they are the best looking wagons by far
Colour is exceptionally nice. Save the green.
