I think these values are for the 3.0L engine. Can you confirm?

The stock map from the MS430056_M54B25_Logger_EWSsignature_CHK5off.bin file is attached for comparison. The table has different values on Y axis and X axis doesnt show "96".

I'd like to copy the EU2 throttle map to the MS430056 tuneable file. I was using the EU2 flash before I started experimenting with the files made available by DanielF and that throttle map seemed to be more responsive.

 

What do the x and y axis represent? When I had my map uploaded the car would bog if I pressed the pedal under high load, like too high of a gear.

 

X = RPM, and Y I think is pedal position

 

This is the map I came up with for my stock M54B25. It's noticeably more responsive than the stock map.

I would love to see someone export from a shark injector or dinan. Thank you guys for sharing your maps! as soon as I get things running I'll have to give them a try!

Honestly because I have no experience and would be worried of damaging the DME (though not the end of the world, it would be counterintuitive to a member tuning it for me). I've done a lot of research on the topic and have pages upon pages bookmarked, but would still rather someone who knows the maps and applications make the adjustments, and essentially allow an opportunity for me to learn first hand.

If I do decide to go ahead with it, would you be comfortable if i PM you a couple questions?

 

Follow the instructions and look up abbreviations and dont touch whatbu dont need to and ull be fine,about damaging ecu i would say i always touch the board with my hands and ecu still works and i have done thay lots of times

 

This is what my B25 map looks like, it's stock at the beginning but it turns linear higher in the rev range, this seems to suit me well because I like having a predictable throttle pedal at the autocross.

 

I want to try bout im scared at the sametime im not lol

Hi all. I just wanted to contribute a few things that I have learned through the MS43 tuning thread. One of the great things you can do with the TunerPro software is change how the throttle pedal feels, similar to a sprint booster or Dinan tune. I can tell you that this makes a big difference on how the car feels when accelerating. It has much more response.

First, do your homework and practice messing around with the software. Upload to your ecu the EWS delete tune using JMGarageFlasher, you will find this file while doing your research. I do not give the link because doing this is not very easy you must really study the process, take your time, and research constantly. Get all your cables working and use the MS43 troubleshooting thread for help, not the MS43 tuning thread.

Second, download your 64kb tune using Galletto 1260 and open it in TunerPro using the XDF you would have found in your research, same place as tune.

Third, open the "Throttle" folder in TunerPro. Then scroll down and open "Throttle angle based on drivers wish". Its is just above the bottom of this folders list.

Note: 81 means Full Throttle, not 100!

You will now see the map, which compares engine RPM with pedal position. Editing the contents will change how much the actual throttle body on the engine moves.

Edit how you wish, or write it in like I have mine. I have had good success with this tune, but always feel free to try what you want, just don't go over 81!

"Save As" the file under another name, and download to the car using Galletto 1260.
