Hey guys I often see members selling or parting out their E46's and sometimes they look like they're in perfect condition. Today I saw a similar post from a member who seems pretty new and not many previous posts. We PM'd each other but he doesn't do paypal he wanted a money order or a prepaid card.

I guess another member saw us on the thread and also PM'd me for the item I was trying to buy from previous member. This guy just opened his fanatic account yesterday.

My question is how can you trust that u will get your merchandise without getting ripped off??

Thanx in advance

You can't trust anyone. You always take a risk when buying from someone, but PayPal helps to minimize the chance of getting ripped off. If they don't accept PayPal, I wouldn't do business with them.

Sounds scam-tastic!

I agree that you can't trust anyone. I've luckily had minimal issues online buying things. There's definitely known members here such as myself. You can typically trust a known member not to screw you because we spend a lot of time and contribute a lot. Typically these people do not desire to screw over fellow fanatics.
People who just join, I would be less likely to trust. And would not buy from if they refused to accept paypal
