Hopefully someone will be able to help me out with this. Several weeks ago the battery in my 2003 BMW 330xi finally went bad in the parking lot of a convenience store. Got a jump, drove straight to the autoparts store and had a new battery installed. Ever since then, whenever I turn the car off and then back on, both the clock and the trip odometer are zero'ed out. I can reset the clock and it runs fine, until I shut the car off -- then back to zero. The trip odometer also functions fine, until I shut the car off -- then back to zero. All other instrument gauges, indicators, etc., as well as the radio operate fine, and are NOT AFFECTED by the shutting car off scenario described above. Anyone ever heard of this issue before?
